Three years of tinkering resulted in a clean Sriracha recipe that was more than good enough to officially launch with Tango, but the purely hot pepper + garlic base was a departure from the carrot + hot pepper + garlic base that Tango had built it's name on. I decided to use the Sriracha Tango launch as a bridge SKU to test a broader rebrand as Tango's umbrella grew to include other sauces and products. The packaging introduced new colors, typography, and layout while keeping enough familiar Tango cues to fit alongside the existing line. It reduced rebrand risk, created a live proof point for the new identity, and built momentum for the larger rollout.
