The truth

I can potentially 16× your email campaign revenue overnight.

Marketing email has a failure mode that standard dashboards don't report: a message can be accepted by the receiving server, logged as delivered, and still never reach an inbox.

The unlock

Every sending domain carries a reputation score that the major mailbox providers maintain and update with each send. In a campaign platform, delivered means only that the receiving server accepted the message; it says nothing about which folder the message was placed in. A message filtered to spam is still counted as delivered. A 99.7% delivery rate is therefore consistent with most of a list never seeing the message, and no campaign dashboard distinguishes the two outcomes. This is a major point of resistance nobody's talking about that every brand in our industry and beyond stands to face.

The problem

The condition is difficult to diagnose because its inputs live in DNS and are largely historical. A domain accumulates authentication records — SPF, DKIM, DMARC — from every service it has ever been connected to, including ones cancelled years earlier, and nothing surfaces which of them is currently degrading placement. In my own case the cause was leftover authentication from a provider I had stopped using months before; it affected every send and appeared in no platform report. Placement is determined by these signals and by the domain's standing with each provider — not by the sending tool, which reports only acceptance.

The solution

I worked through this on my own domain, tangochilesauce.com, and restored its deliverability to a clean 10/10 — a score that can be checked publicly. The next campaign, sent to the same list with the same content, produced roughly 17× the revenue of the one before it; the only variable that changed was placement by way of sender score improvement. The same diagnosis can be run on any domain from public records alone, so I built a tool to do just that. If you're interested, fill out the form below, and you'll get a sender score report within 48 hours, free of charge.
